Dear Parents, You have come here seeking help for your child, and you have made the right decision. Public schools play a crucial role in our education, but sometimes they lack the necessary resources to cater to each student individually. I, too, experienced a challenging academic journey for this very reason. My struggles were not greater than those of others, but the rigid schedule limited my ability to fully flourish. Fortunately, with the support of my parents, I had the opportunity to attend a private school and fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a chemist. I am now a chemist who holds a degree from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and on April 11, 2019, I successfully defended a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). However, all this knowledge is only valuable if it can be effectively communicated. As you know, communication is an essential aspect of teaching. There are teachers who can be uninteresting, and then there are others whose passion is contagious. I have often observed that teachers who manage to ignite their students' interest take the time to provide context for what they teach. This approach often sparks curiosity in students, leading them to engage willingly. Your child's studies are a serious matter, you are right to look for solutions. Best regards, Julien

As a student myself, I always share the same experiences and stressful phases as my students (difficult lessons to understand, exams, assignments, etc.), and I find this to be a major asset in one-on-one tutoring. It's a close connection that most qualified teachers overlook, which prevents them from understanding the student's difficulties. I am currently in my second year at EPFL and passed my first year on my first attempt. In addition to good results at the pre-university level, I continue to excel in my studies (5.25/6 average) and am developing rigor, composure under stress, excellent organizational skills, and above all, a demanding work ethic. In terms of my career path, I am considering a Master's degree in Robotics at EPFL as well, because it is a subject that I am passionate about. To best teach a student struggling with a scientific subject, I believe it's crucial to vary the methods and terminology used. A perspective different from that of a high school/college (or even middle school) teacher can shed light on a topic sometimes perceived as "complicated". That is why I try to be as close as possible to the student, to understand their interests, in order to give simplified, visual, schematic explanations that are easily understood by the student, and that remain a clear reference. To make the most of our time with the student, I try to prepare each lesson meticulously. To do this, I will ask the student about their needs for the next lesson (if they have specific requirements, for example, a test in class or a lesson they didn't understand), or I will prepare a personalized learning plan as best I can.

Julien helped me learn the material for my university statistics exams. He was very patient and gave very clear explanations about the concepts we were discussing. He was friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. He prepared material in advance for each lesson depending on my personal needs. I'm pleased to say he helped me succeed in my final exams despite the fact that I'd never really studied statistics before! I am very glad I chose him as my tutor and I recommend him to anyone else seeking mathematics or statistics tutoring, whether in person or remotely.

Nico is an absolute gem! My son loved every minute of their lessons and Nico’s knowledge is so incredible with great teaching skills. I would choose him again without a doubt! Very reliable too! Thank you so much for such a fantastic lessons Nico!

Henri is a great choice. He’s punctual, very knowledgeable and has a good connection with our daughter. They’ve covered a lot of content in preparation for the upcoming physics exams.
