Individual support courses in Mathematics, Physics and Biology

From 45 £ /h

As a master's student at EPFL, I offer support courses to share my experience in mathematics, physics and biology. Whether at the secondary, gymnasium or university level, the sessions revolve around the resolution of exercises and the resumption of basic theory in order to understand the key concepts. These courses can be adapted with a view to preparing for one or more exams in particular. I can also provide help in organization and working methods.

Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your specific needs and establish a tailor-made program that will perfectly match your learning objectives.

Looking forward to working with you,

About Me

Hello !
I like to make life easier for my students by giving them keys to understanding. For this I rely on communication and work in pairs between the tutor and the student. We will look together for the best approach to the subject in order to make it much simpler. The lessons will be able to follow the school's program but also go back to the basics, taking the time to allow them to hang up the wagon better afterwards.
Looking forward to working together soon!
Thibaut

The math, physics, chemistry, and SVT courses of the Swiss maturity program and gymnasium or French programs are done by either in-depth explanations or by a quick course and summary of essential needs according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or evaluations and exams from other high schools.
Special program for Matura and Terminales.
As well as for (students in international and European Schools in English, they can have support in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
For the start of the academic year in Switzerland, support courses for EPSU and ECUS exams.
For the first university year, support courses in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology.
My experience is too long and for years I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill in their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good as mentioned by my students.
I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects.
Guaranteed response within minutes up to 10 hours maximum.

Hello,

I am a professor and also a graduate of EPFL in Chemistry and Molecular Biology. Also having a solid background in applied mathematics, I have been offering mathematics courses at DF level and above for more than 8 years. I have already worked with more than 150 students for these two subjects, and they have obtained excellent results in their matus. The topics often discussed are:

- Algebra (1st, 2nd and 3rd degree functions).
- Analysis of functions (derivative, optimization and integrals).
- Vector and analytical geometry (plane and space).
- Complex numbers.
- Real sequences (arithmetic and geometry).
- Linear algebra.
- Statistics and others.

I am a very pedagogical and patient person. If you have any difficulties or shortcomings, do not hesitate to contact me.

Greetings

My name is Noreen, I'm a second-year bachelor's student at HEC Lausanne, and I tutor elementary school students. I'm passionate about sharing the many learning techniques I've developed, and I would be delighted to use them to help students progress with confidence. Patient and calm by nature, I don't hesitate to rephrase or re-explain concepts several times so that each student can understand at their own pace. Lessons can be conducted in either French or English, depending on your needs. I look forward to meeting you and discussing your goals!

I offer academic support and homework help in science subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc.). I obtained my scientific Baccalaureate with highest honors in 2024 and I am in my second year of engineering at EPFL.

Before each lesson, I like to glance at the chapter or exercises to refresh my memory on certain theorems or formulas if necessary. This allows me to arrive prepared and explain the concepts clearly and in a structured way.

During the lesson, I guide your child step by step, taking the time to re-explain concepts, review the basics if necessary, and help them gain confidence. My goal is not just to solve the exercises, but above all to ensure they truly understand what they are doing and gradually become more independent.

As a Bachelor of Mathematics student at EPFL, having received the Jury's Congratulations in the baccalaureate with 20/20 in maths, I offer math support lessons adapted to your level and pace.

At the beginning of each session, we review what is blocking progress, we work on the concepts during the lesson, and you leave with exercises to practice between sessions.

I have already helped about ten students following the French curriculum.
