About Me

I'm Giulia, a 30 years old Italian who chose to move 4 years ago to Antwerp for love :)
I studied languages in my hometown Como, Italy and that's probably when my passion for traveling and different cultures began. I have 10 years of experience in the restaurant field and hospitality but I want to change my career sector, that's why I am on this platform.
I did a lot of couch-surfing when I was still living with my parents. I traveled a lot around western and central Europe, 3 months around South East Asia and had a couple of long intercontinental trips (Chile, California and Florida).
I love dancing lindy hoop at events with live music.
Into nature and taking care of plants, re-growing them is also very cool!
I love gardening but I am in the middle of the learning process so I'm still quite a beginner

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
