Hello, I'm Heck and I have 7 years of experience as a teacher in the English area. I offer you dynamic classes that target your needs, prioritizing the communicative approach. Because? From my experience as a teacher I have realized that many students write correctly, understand when reading and even understand when spoken to, but when it comes to producing their ideas orally they cannot find a way to say what they want, or they have a hard time expressing themselves. . Part of this problem is “mental translation” (which is not recommended) which greatly complicates the fluidity with which we communicate. It is not about translating mentally but rather reaching an optimal level through oral practice, repetition and exposure to the language for as long as possible. That is why in my classes I use the communicative approach to a greater extent. In this way, students practice fluid and efficient communication. Making use of this approach means that you use the English language orally for as long as possible while also eliminating the translation of the words. When the new vocabulary is not understood, examples are used so that the student can learn a new word without any need for translation. This also ensures that the second language is learned in a way similar to that in which the native language was learned. Important; Prioritizing the communicative approach does not necessarily mean that other skills such as listening, reading and writing are left aside. I like being able to help others understand the language, which is why I strive for students to achieve the goals they set for themselves.
