Since 2018 I've been teaching and tutoring English to students across the world. I've taught in the private sector, in schools, and now privately online. Many of my students work for international companies or have relocated (or plan to relocate) for work or study and have an immediate need to improve their English. Their goals often include things like better communication for business, making social connections, or simply making day-to-day life in a new country easier. If this describes you, I can help! I've lived internationally for much of my adult life, and I completely understand all of the wonderful experiences, as well as the challenges, that come with communicating in an international setting. In my lessons, I help clients to learn, retain, and USE new information. When we practice grammar structures, we do it in contexts that are useful. When we learn new vocabulary, we practice by talking about interesting and memorable topics. Overall, my lessons are low-stress and conversational yet always focused on results. If your first language isn't English, it can be difficult to express your "true self" in the language, but it gets much easier with practice and persistence! If you are an advanced level student, we'll also work on idiomatic language and cultural references. This helps boost your conversational skills and makes understanding English speakers in general a whole lot easier. Whatever your English language goals are, send me a message, and I'll be happy to assist. We'll have a friendly chat about how I can best help you, and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
