The program of my lessons can be agreed and structured with you from the 1st lesson but it is quite possible to have a much more spontaneous approach according to your objectives. I can teach you essential music theory basics in the form of different practical exercises - Introduce you to different techniques related to your instrument or help you improve them according to your difficulties - Guide you in learning pieces of different styles (Pop, Rock, Metal, Funk, Reggae...) And more. I also offer my services for coaching in launching musical projects. Who am I ? Growing up in a musical family, I started music with the classical piano at the age of 6 and played it for 10 years. It was at the age of 13 that I discovered the bass and decided to delve deeper into the subject by starting private lessons and this instrument has never left me since. In the meantime, I also took guitar lessons in parallel for two years and continued as an autodidact. I joined various Rock and Metal bands during my adolescence and decided to join the Neuchâtel Conservatory of Music in the jazz bass section at the age of 16 and studied there for 3 years. It was in 2019 that I had the chance and the opportunity to join the professional band Triumph Of Death (Hellhammer performed by Tom G. Warrior's Triumph Of Death) which performs internationally. Currently, I still play in this group as well as in two other musical groups. In 2020, the desire to teach music by giving private lessons was born and so I began this activity in Switzerland, to continue it in Belgium two years later. Being back in Switzerland in 2024 permanently, I wish to resume private lessons in person in the canton of Jura, as well as online* for students living outside the canton. *Online lessons take place on Google Teams and I already have several students living abroad. For more information, do not hesitate to contact me on this platform and I will be happy to answer you!

Guitar Basics The guitar is a versatile and popular stringed musical instrument, widely used across genres like rock, pop, blues, classical, and more. Understanding the basics is essential for beginners to start playing and progress effectively. Here’s a concise overview: 1. Parts of the Guitar • Body: The main part, which amplifies sound in acoustic guitars or houses electronics in electric ones. • Neck: The long, thin section where the fretboard is located, used for pressing strings to form notes. • Fretboard: A flat surface with metal frets, dividing the neck into segments for different pitches. • Headstock: At the end of the neck, it holds the tuning pegs to adjust string tension. • Strings: Typically six, labeled (from thickest to thinnest) E (low), A, D, G, B, and E (high). • Bridge: Anchors the strings to the body, transferring vibrations to produce sound. 2. Types of Guitars • Acoustic: Produces sound naturally via the hollow body; ideal for folk, country, and classical. • Electric: Relies on an amplifier and pickups to produce sound; common in rock, jazz, and metal. • Classical: Features nylon strings, suited for classical and fingerstyle playing. • Bass: A four-string variant for lower pitches, used to anchor rhythm and harmony. 3. Tuning Standard tuning for a six-string guitar is E-A-D-G-B-E. Use a tuner (electronic or app-based) to adjust each string’s pitch by turning the tuning pegs. A properly tuned guitar ensures notes and chords sound correct. 4. Basic Techniques • Holding the Guitar: Sit with the guitar resting on your dominant leg (right leg for right-handed players), keeping the neck slightly tilted upward. For electric, a strap allows standing. • Fretting: Press strings down on the fretboard with your fingertips (left hand for right-handed players) to change notes. Use light but firm pressure just behind the fret. • Strumming/Picking: Use a pick or fingersਸ System: your fingers to strum or pluck the strings with your right hand. Start with simple patterns. 5. Chords and Notes • Chords: Combinations of notes played together. Beginners often start with open chords like C, G, D, A, and E, using multiple fingers to press strings. • Notes: Single pitches, found by pressing a string on a specific fret. Practice simple scales like the major or minor pentatonic.

Trusted teacher: -Dutch and videos below- Classes in 6 languages! With over 200 students in my entire life, over 500 concerts (mostly in Spain but also across Europe and some mini-tours in America), 15 CDs/EPs/singles released (as frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar-Modern Music (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), a half-bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional musical career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I came from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the Latin master's degree at Codarts. I have been working as a music teacher for about 12 years (I am 29 years old), giving private lessons and in different music schools, the most important being the "Escola de Música Creu Alta" in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the largest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was responsible for the modern music department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, music production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare for the Bachelor of Music. I can totally adapt to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, as I have a lot of experience, I have the classes well planned, I know which songs and exercises work best depending on the aspect we want to work on (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone play, I can see in which aspects the person is strong, and in which aspects they have the most problems, this way you will not waste your time! In addition, I am a fun and very empathetic person, so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the lessons in any of these languages. Classes can take place at my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or at your home. -Dutch- Decrease in 6 talents! I have met more than 200 students in my ten years, more than 500 shows (in Spain, but also in Europe and two mini tours in America), 15 CDs/EPs/singles published (as leader, sideman and producer), a bachelor's degree in jazz-modern guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half-license in piano-jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long career as a professional musician in various playing styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae. ..), well I came from Barcelona to Rotterdam to my musical tour to become a Latin master at Codarts. I have been working as a musician for 12 years (I am 29 years old), but I am deprived of learning as a comprehensive music school, which is one of the members of the "Escola de Música Creu Alta" in Sabadell (Barcelona). This is one of the great music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in the way of modern music training. I know them in guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, music production (with Logic Pro), ensemble in modern music theory OP ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to men who want a bachelor's degree in music. I can afford to go through what the student wants to do in search, but I can afford to go through the decrease in the decrease also good plan, and I like us to work better on songs and works, depending on the aspect we want to work on (tempo, order, toonladders, feeling, improvisation...). Even if I think and if I play, I can be sure that in the aspect of the person, and in the aspect of the person, more problems are important, so I just do it! I think there is an empathetic person and an empathetic person, because we want to please each other, and that is the most important!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we know how to minimize the importance of one of these languages. At least you can find midday seats (metro station Maashaven) where you have an online setup yesterday, online or to play this Thursday.

Trusted teacher: Guitarist, singer, poet, composer, performer ... and with 20 years of teaching experience, I am happy to share my experience and my know-how: both from a technical point of view (musical knowledge, instrumental or vocal technique ...) than from a more global point of view: expressiveness, body awareness, confidence, creativity ... What interests me above all is to guide you towards more relaxation and confidence as well as autonomy with his or her instruments, to accompany his curiosity, to develop his musical sense and give him the means to go towards the music (s) that attract him. I like to work from what touches you: welcome to those who know what pieces they dream of playing, what style they like!!... instrumental technique and music are learned all the better through what we like (starting from learning a piece to learn a rhythm, reading new notes, knowing more about a style of music, the form of music, etc.) GUITAR SIDE I am competent for: - accompany the learning of the accompaniment guitar (repertoire pop folk rock English speaking French songs of all kinds, trad music, basics of bossa and blues ...) - teach the techniques and repertoire of the classical guitar: know the different styles (baroque, renaissance, classical, traditional Hispanic and South American, contemporary and so on!), acquire dexterity, look for the sonic subtleties of the instrument... - guide the little ones (from 6 years old) to discover the instrument and the music; VERSATILITY and CREATIVITY! I support all projects that need a guitar AND a voice: - do you want to sing along? I teach what is missing in guitar, what is missing in vocals and I have a toolbox today full to facilitate the coordination of the two! - do you want to compose, write songs, or do you have texts but not the chords, you have the melodies but not the words? ... Do you feel stuck in some part of the process? I can help you unwind the thread of your creativity, better understand your gestures, your "dough", find new paths etc ...

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional first e-guitar lesson you provided to my son, Michael. Your natural ability to connect with children and your positive attitude created an incredibly welcoming and engaging learning environment. It was truly inspiring to see how you balanced patience and encouragement, fostering a sense of excitement and curiosity in my son. Your enthusiasm for music and teaching was evident and contagious, making the lesson not just educational but also immensely enjoyable. The way you tailored your approach to suit his age and interests was impressive, and it's clear that you have a genuine talent for working with young learners. Thank you for sparking a newfound passion for music in my son and for being such a wonderful role model. We are looking forward to many more lessons with you.

Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.

Pau Mas

Reconnecting with Pau as a guitar teacher has been as good as I remembered. He's a a great instructor in all the aspects: he's patient and when something is difficult for me he always finds and alternative that is complementary and it really helps me. He knows a lot about music and different genres but if you want to play something he doesn't master, he'd look into it and make it easy for you to enjoy it. The way he plays is so good he's an inspiration and it makes you want to be better. Always my number 1 option guitar teacher!
