Learning English is a skill that unlocks many doors, not only locally but all around the world. My preferred teaching method is student-centered because it focuses on the pupils learning from each other, through teamwork. It also allows for constant monitoring of the students' progress and immediate feedback. I create a balanced learning environment; the pupils have a voice and discussions are encouraged and valued. My strength is in using games; quizzes; flashcards; thought showers; the jigsaw method, role-play, and project-based learning where possible.
