Abstract Algebra I & II - Gallian, Herstein, or Hungerford. Graph Theory - Chartrand and West. Logic and Set Theory; Cameron, Suppes, Jech, Hrbacek Graph Algorithms - Kepner, various sources Readings of selected papers - various papers selected from combinatorics, graph theory, and other areas About the Instructor. I have a MS/PhD in Mathematics and an undergraduate degree in Engineering. I worked as an engineer before getting my PhD. I have worked in a broad range of occupations including design and analysis of piston and gas turbine engines, teaching college mathematics, research in engineering for NASA/NGA/Army and finally working on Dept of Defense supercomputers mostly in the field of Deep Learning (TensorFlow, Pytorch).
