Experienced French as a foreign language (FLE) teacher, I help you adapt quickly to any French-speaking environment! My French teacher diploma in hand, my own experience of learning a foreign language (modern Greek), a fascinating and fulfilling journey, led me to want to help allophones learn my mother tongue, French. Having founded my own school in Crete, I taught for around twenty years to a wide audience (children, teenagers, adults) and had the pleasure of seeing around fifteen of my students become French teachers in their turn. I was an examiner of the DELF and DALF exams for the French Institute of Athens for many years and today continue to support people wishing to take one of these exams (mainly B2, C1 and C2) . Since 2012, I have been giving courses exclusively online and focusing on the needs of anyone living in a French-speaking country: daily communication, professional environment, administrative procedures, job interview preparation... For more than 30 years, I have been practicing the profession that really fascinates me, teaching French as a foreign language! The course is "à la carte" because I listen to your needs. During the first contact, we draw up your profile according to your personality, your knowledge, your objectives, your way of learning and your preferences. We then establish together a work plan focused on your needs, objectives and time requirements. “I understand what I read but I have difficulty expressing myself” or “I don’t dare to speak, I’m afraid of making mistakes” Rest assured, this fear of the unknown is completely normal and common at first! My role is to help you familiarize yourself with the language, but above all to lead you towards autonomy. Understanding your interlocutor, expressing yourself in a clear and understandable way (pronunciation, vocabulary, syntax), communicating, are the priorities in learning a foreign language. Language is music, a fascinating world of techniques and codes but also of emotions and laughter! I will do my best to support you on this path to autonomy!
