I've just graduated with a 2:1 in Modern Languages (French and Spanish). I can also teach Italian (GCSE), Greek (GCSE/ native) and am certified in Introductory BSL. I have 3 years experience of teaching Greek and English (as a foreign language) as a Language Speaking Practise volunteer at my university. After having achieved a French GCSE after 9 months of learning independently and a Spanish degree after 2 years of learning, I strongly believe the quality of learning is more important than the quantity of time. I completed a Spanish oral dissertation on children with learning difficulties regarding language learning, so I equally welcome students of all learning abilities. I can relate to what it is like to have just been a student and understand how important it is to have someone kind to turn to for help and support. I want to watch students thrive, grow in confidence and succeed at their own pace. I'm patient, encouraging, friendly. I would like to use my language skills (in grammar, reading, writing, listening and oral) to allow others to enjoy learning languages.
