Mathematics make up two of the six papers in SATs. It is a vital subject throughout primary school and into secondary school. For children in primary school, you’ll learn arithmetic and mathematical reasoning - both needed to pass SATs under 11s. For children in secondary school you’ll learn ks3 level mathematics including percentages, powers and estimation. This will build a strong foundation and understanding of maths when it comes to taking GCSE mathematics.
