Mathematics is, without doubt, a compulsory and crucial subject for students - from kindergarten all the way up to year 11. Of course, it is not easy to wrap your head around certain concepts, and as a student, I can understand and correlate with the feelings of other students. Hence why, I would like to help you make mathematics a fun, interesting and exciting subject! I have a strong, unwavering passion for mathematics: not only am I predicted a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, but I also will receive a Level 2 Qualification in Further Maths, and will be up taking A-Level Maths and Further Maths at a renowned sixth form this September. At the start of year 10, I was not the best at maths and was working at roughly a grade 5/6, however, under the use of certain tips and tricks, I was able to elevate my grades drastically over a short 2-week winter break and the effort was evident in my test scores. Going from obtaining an average of 60% on my tests to a high 95% was an outstanding achievement for me and I desperately yearn to deliver the tips and tricks I used to other students to help accelerate their academic excellence. My tutoring services will take affordability into account since I believe no student should be neglected from academic achievements and excellence. Furthermore, I will also greatly take into account that most of the students I plan on tutoring are teenagers and below: since they are still growing up and learning new things, it is important to be courteous and mindful, which is why I will seek out to adapt my tutoring methods in terms of style and pace depending on what suits my tutees the best.
