The class however long is in my best view a teach between chord progressions, as well as learning new chords. If a person would like to learn song they like I would gladly ahead of time look up the song learn to a T and give them the best experience of creativity, which starts with learning some new stuff. Overall I would say that its chords, songs, and different progressions. Anything else asked for, I will do my best to meet expectations of the student.
