Hi future students, my name is Jere I am 18 and I’m going to be starting University in September studying English Law and French Law. Teaching and learning languages have always been a strong point for me and I hope to pass this passion on to you. The way I see it learning languages is always about practising little and often and with frequent lessons I think we will be able to achieve this together.
During my sessions, we will set realistic goals, partake in fun activities and engage in conversations that will allow you to become familiar with the language. If you are studying GCSE French, I will help you majorly improve your speaking and writing, through the use of acronyms and memorisation skills; During my GCSE's , prior to discovering my technique, I achieved a 3 in December , later achieving a Grade 8 in the Summer with 59/60 for my speaking exam. For A-Level French, I can help you organise your Coursework( IRP: Independent Research Project) and prepare you for the speaking and writing exam; during my A-Levels, I achieved an A* for my IRP and I hope to do the same for you.
If you are studying GCSE English Literature, I will help you master the art of a Grade 7-9 Answer on your specified texts alongside your NEA(Non-Examination Assessment) for your A-Level; in which I achieved an A during my A-Levels.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Jere
KS3/GCSE/A-Level English Language and Literature tuition. I will help improve the students understanding and approach.
My name is Jere, I am currently studying English Law and French Law at the University of Exeter. When I was in secondary school, I achieved an A at GCSE English Literature, an A during my A-Levels, and an A* in my Essay Coursework; alongside an A*, an A and two B's in other subjects. My interest in Literature stemmed from my ability to immerse myself into the depths of a character. I always found a writer's ability to manipulate the reader's perception of a protagonist, incredibly powerful and I found myself wondering how my opinion would alter by the end of a novel.
Teaching and learning how to analyse literature have always been a strong point for me and I hope to pass this passion on to you. During my sessions, we will set realistic goals, partake in fun activities and engage in conversations that will allow you to become familiar with the art of analysing literature.
The way I see it writing essays is always about practising little and often and with frequent lessons, I think we will be able to achieve this together.
