My name is Luke and I am currently in my fourth year of primary teaching. I worked in the UK for three years at a school in an urban setting. I also led PE for two of these years. This gave me the chance to have a greater impact on the school as I provided a larger number of children with the opportunity to participate in different and more competitive sports. I am extremely proud of how I helped the children in their personal and academic development during my time there. I am currently working in Thailand at an international school. As a teacher, I believe it is important that you feel comfortable in your learning whilst it is vital that I am patient and supportive. In doing this, you will become more confident and this will allow the best progress and development. It is important that my teaching is adapted to your needs and requirements. My pupils would describe me as kind and caring and always willing to listen. I have a very strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum and I have been praised during both internal and external observations for my lessons and how they enable children to reach their maximum potential.
