Regarding math, passing is fine, but the important thing is understanding the content. Throughout the entire educational stage, the content introduced must be based on a foundation: primary education. Understanding the concepts helps make sense of them. In relation to Spanish and English, mechanizing when certain grammatical patterns should be observed to pass exams isn't bad, but that's only part of it; the important thing is understanding. We'll be able to practice reading, comprehension, and speaking in both languages.
