This course is aimed at learners with intermediate knowledge of Mandarin who wish to further develop their oral expression, writing and reading comprehension skills. Together we will talk, read, and write about everyday and current topics (from studying, work, and travel to social media and Chinese culture). You will learn to conduct conversations more fluently, write clearly structured texts, and better understand authentic materials (articles, short essays, stories). In class, we work with dialogues, role-playing, discussions, writing assignments with individual feedback, and reading strategies. In doing so, we discover Mandarin as the most widely spoken language in the world and as a language with a great future in both professional and everyday life. The course is intended for participants aged 18 and over.
