The benefits of playing the piano are vast: increased literacy, intellectual and creative growth, improved social skills and confidence, developed patience, discipline, diligence, reduced stress—the list goes on and on!
Piano students learn to read two lines of music while also using both ears, arms, legs, feet, and all 10 fingers simultaneously. This promotes full use of both left and right sides of the brain, creating new neurological pathways which can be utilised in other disciplines such as mathematics, science, engineering... These neural connections can also have a profound impact on speech, language, memory, attention, concentration and more.
My experience of pedagogy in contrasting settings (8 years of teaching at conservatory, 2 years at International music school, private lessons,) allows me to offer you courses adapted to your profile, from the musical awakening of the little ones to the preparation of contests for advanced students, through courses for teenagers and adults who prefer a more current repertoire. We will find your own way to advance in music!
Making music is the best thing and that's why I want to share this with you.
