Above all, I adapt to the student because each student is different, and that's what makes this job so exciting. My method is to learn at least one thing per session on the instrument, whether technical or musical. Among the points to improve in the student musician, I choose the most important or the most easily achievable and I explain to the student how to change it, in the form of a challenge. Depending on the students, I use technical explanations, or images. And above all, I never hesitate to play the examples myself to illustrate the path to take. I have a degree in recorder performance from the École supérieure de musique (ESM) in Dijon, as well as in pedagogy, where I also obtained a State Teaching Diploma. I am continuing my recorder studies with a Master's degree in Brussels. I have been a recorder teacher at music schools in Marseille, Gray, and at the Besançon Regional Conservatory. I have been giving private lessons for eight years. I also perform a lot in concerts in various ensembles (baroque, traditional music, etc.). I also play the baroque bassoon and have a degree in musicology. I want to make this activity my profession, in addition to being a professional musician.
