Once you can read the notes on a page of music, you can translate it into music on whatever instrument you play. You will learn to read music written in different clefs, understand the range of major and minor keys and learn how to write your own simple melodies and harmonies. By the end of the course you will be ready to take the internationally recognized Grade V ABRSM theory exam in preparation for advancing your instrumental learning.
