I'm aware that learning guitar might feel intimidating... I'm here to tell you that there's nothing to worry about! It does not have to be as difficult or tedious as you may imagine or have experienced in the past. In my view, it is crucial to always get feedback from the student alongside the classes. Teaching is also a challenge that I take with passion, that's why my goal is to take you to where you need and want, show you the path to follow, and go through it together until reach whatever goal you take, all while enjoying the process. I've been teaching for over 3 years and during this time I've had the opportunity to work at different schools, with varied methodologies, and also, students of various levels and ages, from basic introductory courses where I take people that never have played guitar before, to master degree level at the Simón Bolívar University (USB in Venezuela) and Los Andes University (ULA). I've already worked with kids from 7 to 17 years old, teenagers, young adults, adults, and even elderly people. All ages and levels are allowed. My background is vast, includes repertoire from the renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, and modern works from various cultures and in various styles. I have kept a constant concert schedule, working as a soloist, in chamber ensembles, and with the Simón Bolívar Baroque Orchestra, and was awarded the first prize of the most renowned Guitar Competition in Venezuela, the Alirio Díaz Guitar Competition, in 2016. All this has also allowed me to successfully guide my students to prepare for and excel at public performances and competitions. My focus is on your education.
