I encourage you to ask as many questions as possible. Lessons typically last an hour - although different lengths available. I like to present and explain a new concept to the student, allowing them to ask as many questions as they need until they fully understand. I then walk-through a worked example, demonstrating exactly how to break down the problem, all the way through to what to do if you are completely stuck. The student then has the opportunity to ask questions about the methods used - and I will check their understanding is correct. I will then give the student an exam question to try on their own, and will provide help where necessary (although, I prefer to give smaller hints and allow the student to discover the rest of the answer themselves). My previous students really like this method of teaching and find that it not only solidifies their understanding, but it also strengthens their memory - important for the exam. I achieved 5 A*s at A-Level including Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I also achieved 12 A*s at GCSE. I know exactly how to approach questions and the ways of thinking which will take you to your desired grade and above. I do lessons in A-Level Maths and Physics, as well as GCSE Maths and Physics.
