Students explicitly discover physics and chemistry in fifth grade. Compulsory until the second, the teaching of physics-chemistry becomes, in First, a teaching of specialty which the pupils choose or not to follow. This course offers to explore the real, from the infinitely small to the infinitely large and aims to promote experimental practice and modeling activity. In high school as in college, physics-chemistry teaching is organized around four themes: - Organization and transformations of matter - Movements and interactions - Energy conversions and transfers - Waves and signals These themes form the backbone of a scientific reading of the natural world, they participate in scientific and technical culture, they make it possible to understand the great variety and evolution of professions and training as well as the economic issues in relation to physics and chemistry.
