I have mostly in the past years worked with children with special needs. I believe working with them has earned me a good experience with the use of visual aids and to act out learning. I know learning becomes boring when we don't see why we acquire the skill. So I make it my aim to help my students see the importance of what they are learning in real life. when I teach languages to adults, I try as much as possible to make it practical because they use the language to communicate so helping them see how to use the language is what matters not just teaching them grammar. I am bilingual and learned the American sign language as my third language so I know that in languages not just the words matter but the structure of the language makes all the difference.
