This class will cover content throughout the GCSE Edexcel syllabus. This will be an online class taught by a current 4th year medical student, and will teach the students to apply their thinking not only to their GCSE syllabus but also to other areas in life so they may carry these skills in their future. We will cover: - Numbers: Working with fractions + decimals, BIDMAS, Significant figures, standard form, percentages (increase, decrease and compound), factors and prime numbers, proportionality, rational and irrational numbers, whatever is outlined in the GCSE Syllabus. - Algebra: Simplifying expressions, solving equations (with multiple roots, simultaneous, etc), factorising, quadratic expressions, functions, proofs and much more. - Graphs and Shapes: Straight lines graphs, quadratics, circles, pythagorus theorem, sine cosine, angles. This class will help students reach a more comprehensive understanding and enable them to better utilise their logical and rational faculties.
