Trusted teacher: Italian Cuisine Classes – Traditional, Regional, Handmade Pastas, Modern Italian Cooking, and Market-to-the-Table Explore the rich and diverse world of Italian cuisine through immersive and hands-on cooking classes, where tradition meets innovation. I offer a variety of classes that dive deep into Italy's gastronomic heritage, from classic regional dishes to modern interpretations of Italian cooking. Whether you're a novice or an experienced cook, these courses provide the perfect opportunity to learn authentic recipes, techniques, and the history behind each dish. Traditional Italian Cuisine focuses on time-honored recipes passed down through generations, teaching you how to create iconic Italian dishes with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients. In the Regional Cuisine course, we explore the distinctive flavors and specialties from different parts of Italy—each region boasting its own unique culinary traditions. From the rich, hearty dishes of Tuscany to the lighter, seafood-based meals of the Amalfi Coast, you'll discover the diversity that makes Italian food so beloved. A key feature of my classes is the art of handmade pasta, where you'll learn how to craft fresh, homemade pasta from scratch, using traditional techniques. From delicate ravioli to tagliatelle, these sessions offer a deeper understanding of the Italian pasta-making process. Additionally, the Market-to-the-Table experience is a unique activity where we take a journey through local markets to select fresh, seasonal ingredients. After handpicking the finest produce, meats, and herbs, we return to the kitchen to prepare and cook a meal inspired by what we've found. This activity not only highlights the importance of sourcing quality ingredients but also teaches you how to create a complete, authentic Italian meal from start to finish, with an emphasis on sustainability and freshness. Finally, Modern Italian Cuisine combines classic techniques with innovative approaches, showcasing contemporary interpretations of traditional dishes. These classes are designed for those who want to learn how to balance tradition with creativity, using seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques to bring new life to Italian classics. All classes are designed to be interactive and engaging, providing you with the skills and confidence to recreate delicious Italian meals in your own kitchen. Trusted teacher: Who am I? I am a highly qualified teacher with several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreign students. I organize courses for children, courses for individuals over 60, and preparation courses for Italian language exams. I also offer seminars, webinars, and fun activities such as role-playing games and escape rooms to learn Italian while having fun. **My education and studies** I hold two degrees and a master’s degree. My first degree is in Italian Studies, focusing on Theory, Criticism, and Methodology, with a specific path for teaching Italian to foreigners. My second degree is in Modern Philology. I also completed a Master’s in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices at the Luiss Business School in Rome. **What did I do before teaching?** Before dedicating myself to teaching, which I consider the best job in the world, I worked in the fields of fashion and contemporary art. After obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a curator of contemporary art and fashion exhibitions in important museums in Rome. I also collaborated with film festivals, particularly promoting Italian cinema abroad. **My teaching philosophy** I aim to provide my students with all my multidisciplinary knowledge and creativity to offer Italian lessons that include careful grammatical analysis. Beware of those who claim that Italian can be learned without studying grammar: grammar is essential for fully understanding the language system and enables students to become independent right away. Learning grammar is fun and makes learning long-lasting. My lessons do not only focus on the Italian language, but also include insights into Italian culture, from cinema to fashion, from art to design. I also periodically organize meetings with famous Italian artists, including figures from the world of street art. Join me for a unique learning experience that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture! I currently teach in three Schools for Foreigners and have experience with students of all levels and all ages, including children ;) With me, you can also prepare for the state exams to obtain citizenship. Are you interested in Italian culture beyond the language? Do you love cinema and want to learn more about the great visionary Italian directors? Are you passionate about art and want to know more about the Medici, the Renaissance, and contemporary Italian art, and explore icons of Italian design? Then this course is perfect for you. I offer grammar and conversation lessons enriched with seminars on the Italian cultural scene, role-playing games, and interactive activities. All teaching materials will be provided by me! Regardless of your age or level, we’ll achieve great things together! :)

Hi, my name is Hannah! I'm learning Italian, because I'll move to Italy soon to study chemistry. Roberto is the most enthusiastic teacher I have ever met. He explains the grammar and vocabulary very clearly and focusses a lot on conversations in Italian. If you want to learn Italian fast and good, you should definitely get Roberto as your teacher!
