Trusted teacher: Hi! I'm Marcella and I'm Italian. I'm an Italian and Spanish Teacher for foreigners graduated in European Languages and Cultures and DELE certified. I would love to introduce you to the Italian and Spanish languages through conversation sessions, study of grammar and interactive activities, so that you can see the use of the language and remember the topics you have just learned easily and in the long term. If you are a Spanish speaker or have studied Spanish and now feel ready to start studying the Italian language, I would like to help you understand the differences and common aspects between these two languages to facilitate learning through thought associations. At the core of my teaching methodology is the understanding that language needs to be meaningful to the user, and that each of them needs a structured plan aimed at achieving clear objectives, that's why my lessons are tailored to the specific needs of my students. So, whether you want brush up on your Italian or Spanish in preparation for a holiday, or because you are going to move to Italy or Spain for business purposes, or because you are just passionate about the sound of these beautiful languages... :) My role as your tutor is to equip you with the language you need and to practise your target language together until you feel comfortable enough to use it in real-life communication. Moreover, I believe that is significant to know the different ways of conveying the same "idea" to boost the vocabulary, the way of speaking and, above all, to sound like a native! Our discussions will include regular feedback on your progress and advice on what to do next. I love Italy, the Spanish language, discovering new cultures and traveling. I'm looking forward to hear from you and help you achieve your goals. Marcella

I am offering personalized Italian lessons, based on the needs and preferences of the student. I am available both to those who want to start discovering this language and to those who already have a good level of knowledge of Italian and wish to master it. It is important to be able to communicate right from the start in Italian, regardless of the level of knowledge you are beginning from; for this very reason, lessons are mainly in Italian and place particular emphasis on dialogue. My lessons are also aimed at those who are writing “papers” (dissertations, university texts, conferences, articles, work emails) and need corrections, feedback or commentary. For those who know Italian well and would like to study or explore a particular author or literary text, I am available for analysis, readings and specific lessons on the required topic.

HI, I'm Alessandro, I'm from Naples and I'm 30 years old. I love American literature specifically but I get easily curious when it comes to novelist and novelists of the 1900s. This is combined with the pleasure of searching the stalls for unknown and interesting titles. I'm part of a literary magazine and I write poems and short stories. Also, I like cooking, I practice Karate and I like camping in the mountains. And, of course, I love teaching! I taught English as a private tutor to Italian and foreign students. I have helped learners of different ages and with different goals (university exams, reinforcement of basic skills, questions) to become independent and creative in using the language. I prepared two lessons in Portuguese on Neapolitan culture and language as part of a cycle of masterclasses on Elena Ferrante's tetralogy. I interfaced with European and Brazilian clients to give some interpretations on some aspects that I considered crucial to my culture. In the second lesson, however, I provided some rudiments of phonetics and grammar, as well as a list of sayings and idiomatic phrases used, in large part, by the Neapolitans daily. I believe that a lesson should focus on the learner's personal goals while organizing a spiral path that looks at grammar, vocabulary, and the use of the language in specific contexts and for daily tasks. We will help ourselves with multimedia elements such as articles, short videos, audio files, interviews, grammar, and conversation exercises. I would be happy to know what are your goals, your learning strategies, and preferences regarding the course (e.g. duration) and to have a chat ;). I'll send you a form to ask you something about your interests (e.g. what books you read/films you watch) and then we can organize a first introductory lesson. Write me to start learning a musical, colorful, and passionate language

Trusted teacher: Hello! If you've decided to keep reading, it's probably because you're thinking about learning a new language, so the first thing I want to say is: CONGRATULATIONS! :) Learning something new is always a good idea! With that said, let me introduce myself. I have a degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation and a degree in International Relations. I have been teaching Italian as a foreign language for many years and in the past I have also been giving some Spanish classes, so I want to assure you that despite your level of Italian, we will not have communication problems and we will be able to use Spanish as an auxiliary language :) Throughout my professional career I have had experiences in different types of classes, both in Italy and Spain. Thanks to them I have learned how important it is to use varied teaching methods since each person learns in their own way. What works for you may not work for another person and that is why I have decided not to adopt a predefined methodology and to adapt my way of teaching to the needs, objectives and interests of the person(s) who participate in my classes. I like to improvise and have a class as entertaining as possible, mixing linguistic elements with cultural themes. This is more or less a summary of who I am and how I see teaching. I can't tell you that I'm the perfect teacher in the whole world (I wish!), but perhaps I can be the right person to accompany you on your learning path. If you are interested, have doubts or questions, you can contact me without any obligation. Good day!
