Hi everyone! I lived in Japan for a year and a half, first as a Japanese studies student at Ochanomizu University and then as a trainee for Japanese language teachers at Japan Foundation Institute in Saitama. I've been around the Japanese language since 2008 and teaching it since 2012, individually and at private language schools. I also worked as a Japanese speaking tour-guide for around four years and occasionally worked as an interpreter. My teaching approach is focused on communication and based on real-life situations as I feel students get more motivated if they feel they can use their knowledge outside of the classroom. However, as a grammar freak, I can add a bit of extra focus on it if needed. I am very communicative, open and supportive since I had to go through the process of learning Japanese myself which I find a beneficial experience for beginners' level.

Through Japanese, they can discover the joy of learning and gradually overcome their weaknesses. The course is also useful for families who plan to travel to Japan for work or sightseeing. First lesson – Japanese for children In this Japanese course for children, students can learn the language while having fun through videos and various playful materials. The aim of this course is to help children who love anime, Japanese culture or Japanese food, as well as those who have reading and writing difficulties, lack fluency in speaking or who encounter learning challenges. Through learning Japanese, they can discover the joy of learning and gradually overcome their difficulties. This course is also useful for families planning to travel to Japan for work or tourism. 2nd Course – Japanese for Students, Travelers, and Manga Fans This course is designed for students, people preparing to study abroad in Japan, travelers, and manga lovers. We start with the basics and can move on to more advanced content depending on each learner's ability. You will learn essential phrases, conversation skills, and grammar needed for daily life in Japan. Lessons are enjoyable and tailored carefully to each individual's level and learning style. I have a variety of learning materials, and we use the ones that best suit each child. 2nd lesson – Japanese for students, travelers and manga enthusiasts This course is aimed at students, people preparing to study in Japan, travelers, and manga enthusiasts. We start with the basics and can progress to more advanced content depending on each learner's abilities. You will learn essential phrases, conversation skills and grammar necessary for everyday life in Japan. The lessons are enjoyable and carefully tailored to each individual's level and learning style. I have a wide variety of teaching materials and I use those that are best suited to each student. The third course is a JLPT preparation course. It covers all levels from JLPT N5 to N1All levels and is designed to help students pass the exam. Ayant moi-même appris le japonais avant de vivre 12 ans au Japon, je connais très bien les difficultés que cette langue peut présenter pour un apprenant francophone ou anglophone. Mon objectif n’est pas seulement de vous donner la bonne réponse, mais de vous aider à comprendre le fonctionnement de la langue afin que vous puissiez progressivement l’utiliser de manière autonome. Un cours peut combiner conversation, grammaire, compréhension, lecture, écriture et vocabulaire selon vos besoins. J’accorde une attention particulière à la mise en pratique : ce que nous apprenons doit pouvoir être utilisé dans des situations réelles. Les supports et exercices sont choisis ou adaptés en fonction de votre niveau et de vos objectifs. Les kanji occupent une place particulière dans mon enseignement. My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I can also help students preparing for the JLPT or those learning Japanese for travel, study, professional purposes, or simply out of a passion for the Japanese language and culture.
