Young dynamic teacher, graduate in conservatory and with a great experience in musical education, I offer piano lessons either at your home or by videoconference via Skype, WhatsApp or Zoom (effectiveness guaranteed!). I will cover various essential aspects for an optimal progression on the piano, such as the positioning of the hands, the understanding of the score, the training of the musical ear, the deciphering of pieces, as well as the learning of harmony and improvisation. All styles are taught, whether classical, boogie woogie, jazz, or variety. My classes are for all ages, and even beginners are welcome! Group lessons are also an option. I base my classes on passion or creating this passion. Far from me the idea of following a basic and linear program of learning, when it comes to art, we talk about sensations, feelings and emotions! It is therefore necessary to create the musical envy in the student and for that three points are essential: -Listening: What does the student want? Make it a job? a passion ? Discover an instrument? This is the most important point, because it allows to glimpse the desires of the student in order to prepare a tailor-made educational program so that it is in perfect adequacy with his training and his desires. Curiosity: It's good to know how to play an instrument, understand it better! I give my classes a cultural dimension to be able to undertake music. It is very important to play well, to understand what we play to be able to grasp all the ins and outs and, who knows, reproduce one day in personal compositions. - Fun: Playing an instrument is above all fun. This dimension is just as important as working your exercises because without pleasure, there will be no emotions. And without emotions the quality of the game is diminished ... My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students. Throughout my career I had the satisfaction of studying with great masters of different specialties or styles, each one emphasizing different aspects of flamenco, classical or modern guitar and each one has given me their approach (technique, rhythms, accompaniment, harmony, etc.), which has led me after years of study and compilation to take the best from each one to develop my method. My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc. For me, the role of a teacher, in addition to teaching, is to be part of a team, to maintain morale and constantly improve oneself while always maintaining a love for music. Methodology: I tailor the lessons to the student's level, style, or goals. Generally, the first half of the lesson is dedicated to technique, focusing on proper placement, execution, and relaxation, which will result in a good sound. Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

In 2026 werd ik toegelaten tot zowel Berklee College of Music (VS) als Conservatorium Maastricht, waar ik ervoor koos mijn studie voort te zetten. Ik geef pianolessen aan leerlingen van alle leeftijden en niveaus. Tijdens de lessen werken we aan pianotechniek, muzikaliteit, improvisatie, gehoortraining en muziektheorie, altijd afgestemd op jouw persoonlijke doelen en muzikale interesses. Je kunt kiezen voor klassieke piano, jazz, improvisatie of een combinatie hiervan. Of je nu helemaal vanaf het begin begint, al ervaring hebt of je voorbereidt op een toelatingsexamen of conservatoriumstudie, ik pas de lessen aan jouw niveau en doelen aan.
