Good morning! My name is Trécy, I'm French, and I've been living in Madrid for 8 years. I've been a French teacher for 7 years and hold a degree in Spanish Philology from the Sorbonne (Paris) and a Master's in FLE (teaching French as a foreign language). My method is communicative, meaning I primarily encourage oral communication in my classes, analyzing documents, videos, and audio, but always with the goal of reviewing and studying grammatical structures, conjugation, and, above all, the vocabulary necessary for you to be able to converse in French-speaking environments. In addition, in class I practice with the students both the oral and written comprehension sections as well as the oral and written production, grammar points, conjugation, conversation... because don't forget that spoken and written French are like two different languages and it is necessary that you know how to speak and write them. I also offer varied and engaging content to my students so they can learn while having fun with videos, audio clips, role-playing games, real-life situations, debates, and more. The goal is for you to learn inductively. That is, you will analyze the grammatical structures and verb tenses that appear in the documents studied to derive the rules for these structures. We will study them together and explain them with the goal of later applying them through exercises, activities, dialogues, etc. In short, you are the driving force and the driving force behind this class!
