Trusted teacher: I am looking for students to tutor on a subject I am highly passionate about. I am a sociable character and I strongly believe in a dynamic and personalised approach. I have been a past English literature GCSE Edexcel and a A-level AQA board B student and believe this experience has taught me clearly how to provide best to different students needs. The texts I have studied for GCSE are Macbeth, Blood Brothers, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, poetry anthology (Also have done work on Othello and How to Kill a mockingbird) and for A levels my texts studied were Twelfth Night, A Doll's House, Kite runner, Comedy poetry anthology (coursework included Frankenstein and poetry). I'll mainly be focusing on content, exam knowledge as well as exam skills (however, I am open to giving feedback on the NEA coursework elements). I am open to new teaching methods and I will be able to work at flexible hours. My model essays and own resources will also be available for a more engaging teaching method. Get to know my top tips and advice I wish I knew before the examination. My services include a in depth study plan and structured resources for re/learning content, as well as marking essays and giving feedback. I offer in my lessons in person at the students' house, in person at my house and online via zoom/microsoft teams/skype.

Trusted teacher: Qualified English professor from England, I have a BA and MA in Linguistics (English). I am also qualified for the IELTS/TOEFL exams, IGCSEs A-Levels. I can also correct your written work (university thesis...). I adapt my lessons according to the level and needs of the student. We will work together on grammar, reading, speaking and listening. I will correct your pronunciation and I can give you some lessons based on phonetics. If you wish, we can also work on more specific subjects such as business, medicine, literature, interpreting etc. I travel a lot but that doesn't stop me from giving the lessons via webcam, very appreciated in general by the students (the notes written by the teacher are saved in the conversation, possibility to share the screen for interactive activities, no need to run to the teacher's house 😉 ). You can always try a course and judge for yourself (30 min or 1 hour). All the students who have had the lessons with me on Apprentus have repeatedly booked the lessons (as well as my former student Justine who had her lessons during the Covid and at that time, I was stuck abroad ;-) ). Recently, I had the pleasure to see my student improving from 20% to 90% on her English writing exam after only a few lessons. Trusted teacher: Hello there! My name is Raghinie. I have completed my IB diploma at Birkerød Gymnasium. I am currently pursuing my degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. I am originally from Malaysia but I have lived in Denmark for 5 years and currently living in the Netherlands for the past 3 years. However, English is my first language and I also have an IETLS certificate. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations. I will provide online worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect. In the first meeting, we will discuss further on the preference of workload and what you would like to learn. In case of sign up by parents, it is the parents' responsibility to communicate what are the needs of their child in regard with learning. I am open to having group classes of 3-5 students. Ms. Mireya has the magic way to support and motivate my son to pass Philosophy class while his Spanish was still at B1 level. I don't understand Spanish, but I heard a lot of laughings while her online classes with my Son. My son told me one day, Mireya is a great teacher !
