I have been giving Luxembourgish lessons to beginners (A1, A2, B1) for a couple of years here and there. I focus on speaking, listening and reading comprehension, as I believe this is the most important parts of learning Luxembourgish. Beginners should not be held back by the grammar and writing, that can be picked up lateron. I am currently only offering online sessions, where I usually prepare a PowerPoint with exercises that focus on different themes. I only offer lessons to English speakers at the moment. I am very open to structuring lessons based on what you would prefer and I try to make it interactive, fun, and varied! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

I’m Liana, 24 years old. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and I’m currently finishing my Master’s in Healthcare Management. I have been tutoring for nearly 8 years and work with both primary and high school students in Luxembourg. For primary school, I offer support in all subjects, helping students build strong foundations and confidence in their learning. For high school students, I specialize in Mathematics, German, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and I can also assist with French in lower classes. I am native in Portuguese and Luxembourgish and speak French, English, and German at a high level, which allows me to adapt easily to the multilingual school system in Luxembourg. I also have experience working with children with learning difficulties and ADHD, focusing on patient, structured teaching methods that help students stay motivated and improve their results.

Become bilingual in Luxembourgish with me! Passionate about languages and a polyglot, I offer a unique approach to mastering Luxembourgish. Since 2011, I have traveled throughout Luxembourg as a journalist. These years have given me in-depth knowledge of the country, its history, its cultural particularities, but also of its language in all its nuances. My knowledge is not only theoretical; it is the result of concrete immersion and life experience. My classes go far beyond simple grammar. We will work on the language through themes that interest you: current events, culture, history, or daily life. You will learn to speak Luxembourgish as it is actually used, discovering the subtleties that cannot be learned from textbooks. With me, you don't just learn a language; you appropriate a culture. You will understand Luxembourg from the inside out, much better than if you had any other teacher. Together, we will make you an expert on the country and its language. Ready to take the first step? Contact me and start your linguistic and cultural journey without further delay.

In a culturally rich country like Luxembourg where a large number of cross-border commuters come to work, it is very important to be able to talk and communicate with each other. If you are looking for language lessons/language tutoring, then you have come to the right place. I speak a total of 5 languages (Portuguese, Luxembourgish, German, French and English). Translating is not a problem for me, which makes learning a language even easier.
