Associate professor currently available from the National Education for family reasons (I am therefore no longer in a post in an establishment since 01/09/2021 and am no longer an employee of the EN), I have a double course literary and scientific and gives private tutoring in many subjects in video under autoentrepreneur status. With 10 years of teaching experience in secondary school, with several bac juries to my credit, and many years of experience of private lessons (including 3 years in main activity during a previous availability), I offers you my help in these different disciplines, which I am used to teaching in private lessons and which I have sometimes been asked to teach in the context of short-term replacements in college (replacements for colleagues from English and French late in having replacements appointed to their posts). Small group lessons are also possible. If your child has a classmate who is having difficulty in the same subject, or his or her older sibling needs the same kind of help, it is possible. In this case, the price is decreasing for each participant. Please respect the reserved hours. The courses are adjustable in advance. Any course canceled less than 24 hours in advance is due at 50%. Additionally, I have been teaching Maths at the International School of The Hague since 2019. In 2022, I established my tutoring academy (Thehaguemaths), where I provide both group classes and personalized 1-on-1 lessons. Throughout my academic journey, I have devoted a significant amount of time to assisting fellow students and children (up to Graduate level) in mastering both basic and advanced mathematics as well as physics. My tutoring experience includes working with students from the International School of The Hague and the British school, covering various curricula like IB, EB, British (GCSE, O-level, A-level). My educational background consists of a BSc degree in double Maths and Physics, and I hold an MSc in Mathematics with an impressive CGPA of 3.91 out of 4.0. Following my studies, I briefly ran a tutoring academy before relocating to The Netherlands. In my teaching approach, I don't follow standard programs or lessons. Instead, I tailor each lesson to cater to the individual needs and interests of my students. On a tight timeline, Mihaela was able to make time to meet with me in person for an hour lesson to introduce me to Italian. For the introductory lesson, I felt it covered a good amount of ground (and she even provided a document of everything we covered and more via email)! She explained hard and soft pronunciation between G + C and pronunciation of vowels. She prepared exercises to help me introduce myself to others. Mihaela even explained some of the historical background of the location we met at, Sforzesco Castle. After our lesson, she also gave me recommendations of places to visit in Milan. In short, Mihaela was thorough, patient, courteous, and communicative! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

After many months of lessons I can say that Sobia has excellent experience in teaching & tutoring and above all has a human approach to tutoring my daughter which I think is very important. She understands that the tutoring is as much about rebuilding my daughter’s confidence, as it is about teaching her how to do math. She is also punctual, capable and reliable. And the proof of the pudding is in the eating, my daughter’s Math scores have significantly improved over the months, she is now much more comfortable with the subject and able do the work, no more panic and tears!! I want to start off by saying a huge thank you to Sacha! I am a Master student who needed academic support for a statistics course in February and although I have always lacked confidence in math, Sacha made me feel as if i had the foundation and ability to not only pass the course but also succeed in writing the results section of my Thesis paper.
