Biology 1. Biology begins with an examination of cells as the foundation of living things, as well as their structure and function. 2. We will then look at how cells develop into tissues, organs, and organ systems, and how these various systems combine to form individual plants and animals. 3. Finally, using a few case studies, we will look at how the individual fits into a community and ecosystem, as well as how environmental pressures can drive the evolution of living things. Chemistry 1. In chemistry, we'll start with the fundamental concepts needed to understand matter's properties and chemical reactions. 2. We will then learn about atom structure and how it affects the reactivity of different elements, as well as how atoms are arranged in various compounds and mixtures. 3. Finally, we'll learn how to calculate the amounts of matter involved in reactions and gain a better understanding of why substances behave in certain ways based on their physical and chemical properties. Math 1. We will begin by introducing the algebraic concepts and skills required to graph and solve linear equations and inequalities. 2. We will also develop algebraic expressions and formulas using the rules of operations. 3. Third, we will introduce statistical concepts, reasoning, and methods with the goal of preparing students to perform common statistical calculations. 4. Following that, we will focus on preparing students with concepts and skills relevant to the study of Calculus. Polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, as well as their equations and graphs, are among the topics that will be covered. 5. Finally, we will discuss limit, continuity, derivative, integral, and applications. It is assumed that you are familiar with trigonometric functions from the previous section above. Physics 1. Physics introduces basic concepts from classical physics. We will investigate forces and motion, as well as vector arithmetic and graphing techniques. 2. We'll also learn about wave properties and motion, as well as how energy can be transferred by a wave or as heat. 3. Finally, we'll look at electricity and magnetism to see how charged objects interact.

I, Noa (26), am a first-degree qualified mathematics teacher, which means that I can teach mathematics at all levels, VMBO / HAVO / VWO / GYMNASIUM and years. I studied Econometrics and then did the teacher training. I really enjoy classroom teaching, but I also learn a lot from 1-on-1 tutoring (where do you get stuck, which parts are difficult...). I get back from my students that I am patient and that I can explain clearly and in a structured way. During the math tutoring you as a student are central and I will adapt my way of coaching to your request for help and style of learning. This is the luxury of (private) tutoring compared to your regular classroom lessons and we have to make use of it. I think it is important to help you in such a way that it is also useful when I am not around, for example when you independently make (test) assignments. I do this by asking questions that you can also ask yourself. Not only will you learn how to do a certain sum, but you'll teach yourself a way of thinking that you can use throughout your math "career." For the online tutoring I use my iPad on which I can write well. On your device you will see both my screen (the 'blackboard') and my webcam screen. During my tutoring I like it if you also have your camera on so that I can see whether I am explaining at the right pace and whether it is clear what I am saying. I will also sometimes ask you to work out a sum and send me a photo so that I can give feedback. You can learn a lot from that. Does this suit you? And is this what you need and what you are looking for? Let's meet that! During a non-binding introductory meeting of about fifteen minutes, you can ask questions about the tutoring and tell us what you need help with. Then you can decide if you really want me as a tutor.

Soon to graduate with a Master's degree in International Marketing and Business Development, I offer my services in the context of private lessons / homework help for primary / college / high school levels. After an economic and social baccalaureate with honors and European English, I followed a 2-year training course in a preparatory class. At the end of this training, I was able to join the SKEMA business school in order to obtain my Master's degree. Thanks to many trips made before my studies but also thanks to two semesters spent in foreign universities (United States and England), I was able to improve my English at a fluent level (C1). I offer courses entirely adapted to the needs of the student: improvement, support on the more general concerns of organization and working method, in-depth follow-up for subjects with more or less profound difficulties... We can discuss the needs of the student and build together courses adapted to his needs. Classes generally run as follows: 1) Resumption of the course to check its good understanding & its mastery 2) Re-explanation (if necessary) of the concepts & elements of the course 3) Work on the required exercises / review with concrete exercises 4) Additional exercises to consolidate the knowledge learned / deepen the topics This allows the student to learn to organize himself but also to acquire a real working method. The human and pedagogical aspect of these courses is essential for me, it is essential that the courses take place in benevolence, allowing the student to feel comfortable and confident. Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss more details or to start a follow-up.
