Hello, My name is Michał, I’m 24 years old, and for the past several years I’ve been teaching guitar lessons. I started playing guitar myself as a child, and ever since then I’ve been developing my skills every day—because this is truly my biggest and most important passion. This offer is for anyone who either wants to see if guitar is right for them or already has some skills but isn’t sure which direction to take next to improve. I understand that the guitar is a vast and complex subject, which is why I approach each student individually—everyone has their own preferences and pace of learning. ---------------🎸 For beginners--------------------------- I’ll gladly introduce you to the world of guitar by starting with actual music—simple but impressive songs that sound great without requiring years of practice. (Yes, guitar can be tough at first, but trust me—it’s nothing to fear 😉.) ------------🎸 For those with some experience---- We jump right in. 😎 Besides working on songs you choose, we also explore more advanced and exciting topics like: -------------🎶 Music theory-------------------------------- I explain music theory in a clear and simple way, using examples from around the world and across genres. Most importantly, I focus on understanding the concepts—not just memorizing dry patterns—so you can apply them naturally and quickly. -----------✍️ Composing your own songs------- We combine theory with creativity to write complete pieces from scratch. We’ll shape the mood, structure, and arrangement to bring out the best in your ideas. -----------🎸 Improvisation------------------------------ This is my personal favorite. We use all the knowledge you’ve gained to jam together, creating spontaneous music and learning the most in the process—while having fun at the same time! ----------------💡 Creative guitar techniques------- Starting from the easiest tricks, I’ll show you how to spice up your playing and develop your own personal style. 🎯 In my lessons, the most important things are: a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, creativity and growth in many areas of musicianship. As a self-taught musician, I often use non-traditional teaching methods, so your progress will feel natural—and you’ll be learning by playing what you actually enjoy, rather than doing dry exercises for an hour straight. Bonus: I also have experience and certification as a recording technician, so if you're interested, we can record your playing during lessons, and I’ll help you learn about: working with DAWs, mixing and mastering, and how to record your own music at home. 📍 Location: Lessons take place at my home studio in Kraków (Prądnik Biały). I also offer online lessons (Messenger/Zoom/ETC) I do not tend to update the availabity of the spare hours, so feel free to ask :)

I offer personalized lessons for children and adults. I'm open to your suggestions for pieces, your preferences, and the styles that suit you best! (Classical music, jazz, film music, pop, rock, etc.) Convinced of the importance of theoretical foundations (particularly music theory and harmony), it is possible to integrate them into the courses so that students develop with solid foundations. This then allows us to understand music in its entirety, around a rich and varied repertoire. Having also studied improvised music at the Paris Conservatory and being a musician in several groups, I would be happy to be able to share my experience around musical creation as well as in the development of improvisation. Anyone interested in the instrument and who would like to develop their keyboard skills is welcome, regardless of age. Looking forward to seeing you again and see you soon! A little more about my background: A graduate of the Paris Conservatory, I had the chance to work alongside many exciting pianists and teachers, such as Denis Pascal, Pascal Amoyel, Rena Shereshevskaya and in improvised music Paul Lay and Emil Spányi, who were able, throughout my career, to bring me into musical research and maintain this taste for the instrument. Being attracted by musical creation, as well as composition, I was also able to study harmony, arrangement, music theory and composition at the Rueil-Malmaison conservatory in the Paris region. Alongside my musical projects as a classical and jazz pianist and musical composition, I devote myself to my passion for educational transmission.

What makes Baroque music different from Romantic? How did Mozart, Beethoven, and Stravinsky change the sound of the world? In this course, we’ll explore the major eras of Western classical music, from the ornate harmonies of the Baroque to the bold, theory-breaking works of the 20th century. Each lesson focuses on a different time period or movement, introducing key composers, musical styles, and the historical and cultural forces that shaped the sound of each era. This class is designed to be accessible and engaging, NOT theory heavy. No formal music training is required. We’ll focus on listening, storytelling, and historical context, helping you connect with music as both an art form and a reflection of its time. We’ll explore each period using musical excerpts, visual art, cultural history, and key ideas — with room for discussion, questions, and student interests. Topics Included: - Baroque Era: Bach, Vivaldi, sacred music, ornamentation, court life - Classical Era: Mozart, Haydn, balance, Enlightenment ideals - Romantic Era: Beethoven, Chopin, nationalism, emotion, revolution - Impressionism & Modernism: Debussy, Stravinsky, fragmentation, innovation - 20th Century and Beyond: Minimalism, film scores, electronic music, global voices Learning Goals: - How to identify musical styles and characteristics by era - Key composers and the cultural movements they reflected - How to listen critically and understand music’s relationship to its time - Confidence discussing music without needing formal training or theory background This class is perfect for music students, history lovers, or anyone curious about the evolution of classical music — and the stories it tells.

Hi! I’m Didac Barber, a professional concert pianist and experienced teacher from Spain, now based in the Netherlands. I hold a Master’s in Piano Performance from The Hartt School (USA) and trained at ESMUC Barcelona, studying with top international pianists like Adolf Pla and Luiz de Moura Castro. I’ve performed across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and have taught piano for over 15 years — in conservatories, private studios, and internationally online. My passion lies not only in performance but in helping students discover what they are capable of. I’m dedicated, empathetic, and patient — and I want you to enjoy your learning journey as much as I do sharing it. Each student is different, and so are my lessons. Whether you're just starting out or already preparing for auditions or performances, I’ll adapt the lesson to your goals, challenges, and musical taste. We can work, all in a way that feels personal and motivating, on: * Technique and sound production * Repertoire (classical, contemporary, film music, etc.) * Musical expression and interpretation * Performance preparation (concerts, exams, auditions) * Practice strategies and confidence-building I’m here to help you be the best pianist you can be, whether that means mastering Bach or finally playing your favorite piece with confidence. Lessons are online, and taught in English, Spanish, or Catalan. In-person lessons will also be available in Amsterdam from January 2026. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I’d love to hear about your musical goals and help you reach them. Let’s make music together! — Didac 🎶
