Trusted teacher: Hello! :) I'm a professional teacher/violinist with a “Master in education” from the Royal Conservatory. I teach both live or online through Zoom. Music making is guaranteed even through distance learning! You'll be provided with accompaniments and recorded music to support your learning process. You'll spare some money too as I will provide lesson-by-lesson all the needed books and repertoire. You can play from your screen or even print at home the necessary sheets for the lesson rather than buying unnecessary extras. I graduated cum laude in my country and specialized in violin education in The Hague. I attended masterclasses and workshops with many celebrated musicians. As an orchestral violin player, I toured all over the world from Europe to China and played with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Wayne Marshall, John Axelrod, Pascal Rophè and many others. As a teacher, I have been teaching full-time since 2015 and got very good experience ever since. I have familiarity with all the most common syllabi such as Trinity, ABRSM or Suzuki. I like using technology but also a new repertoire with different styles in my classes, I generally follow and develop my own pupil's musical interests. If you are a total beginner without any experience or an advanced musician, this class is suited for you! :)

Trusted teacher: For as long as I can remember, I loved music. I have successfully completed my BA degree and Mmus in Singing Performance My passion for music started at an early age with piano lessons. which was the start of my academic path in music. I successfully completed my ABRSM Grade 8 exams both in piano and music theory. Theory of music was always a great interest of mine and the thought of passing my knowledge through tutoring excites me. I am familiar with the long practice and study hours in order to achieve perfection. I have a very good knowledge of the piano ABRSM syllabus and feel very confident I can transfer this knowledge over to an interested student. I teach piano and theory of music based on the ABRSM syllabus, however, if the student wants to focus on a specific topic I am happy to do so. I am also a singing teacher in pop/jazz music.

Anna is an active performer and music tutor based in London. Originally trained as a classical clarinettist, she later took up saxophone as she drew closer to jazz and improvised music, then trained in jazz saxophone at the Perugia Conservatory of Music in Italy. Here she also studied the fundamentals of piano accompaniment and took second study classical clarinet. She is now a versatile player involved in a range of projects in the jazz, RnB, hip hop, afrobeat, funk and fusion genres. Anna is available to teach from absolute beginner to pre-university level inclusive, from the age of seven upwards. In your first lesson she will aim to get a good understanding of your level, strengths and areas to improve in, what your learning style is and what your musical interests are. A variety of activities and materials in a range of musical styles will be provided with the space for you to choose which work best for you. She will also discuss with you your goals and your musical experience or current activity, thus being able to cover appropriate elements in lessons and ultimately enabling you to get the most possible out of each lesson and your personal practice time. For classical clarinet and saxophone students (up to Trinity Guildhall grade 8 inclusive), lessons will obviously be more centred towards the execution of written works, covering repertoire from the Baroque period to the works of contemporary composers. Exam repertoire can also be studied optionally, if the student wishes to participate in graded examinations (Trinity Guildhall). Jazz or contemporary saxophone students will focus on developing their ear and internalising chord-scale theory, studying elements of music theory where necessary and exploring improvisation, transcription and their own musical vocabulary. There is also the option of working towards Trinity Guildhall graded examinations. Theory-exclusive lessons are available, covering exam-board courses as well as jazz theory and general areas of interest. All-rounder students are also more than welcome - they will cover a mix of styles and skills according to their taste, though never neglecting technique and fundamentals of the instrument. Beginner and absolute beginners, not to worry! Anna will take you through your first steps on your instrument, getting you playing from day one, always ensuring that good technique is learned early on. Lessons follow your pace so it doesn’t matter how quick of a learner you are or how much time you’re able to put into home practice - once one skill is well-internalised you will be able to move onto the next, securing steady progress whilst putting into practice lessons already learnt.

I was 18 years Music teacher and choir conductor in Hong Kong. I am a newcomer but I still have passion to teach music. I am using different strategies to teach piano ,which are adjusted according to children's interests. Some parents like goal-oriented and let children take music exams, and some parents like to cultivate children's interest in music. Even if you are a parent of that category, I will tailor a set of teaching materials for you and my child. I will also prepare for your music exam. Learning music is an investment. My teaching method is to teach the most things in a limited time. I hope that children will gain satisfaction in learning music, so as to enhance their interest, enjoy music, and share music. Never waste time, never waste tuition!

Trusted teacher: Playing an instrument isn't a gift or a natural talent, it's a skill, like anything else. Anyone can learn to play an instrument, just as long as its something they really want to do! In my lessons, as well as going through how to actually play, I cover a variety of areas such as: - Improvisation - Playing by ear - Ear Training & Aural skills - Composition - Harmony & Theory Some of my favourite artists include Jimi Hendrix, D'angelo, Erykah Badu, John Mayer, Royal Blood, James Blake, Lianne La Havas, etc. A lot of soul music mixed with jazz, hip hop, funk etc. But generally I enjoy almost everything, from Rock to Rap to classical.
