About me: I am a professional pianist with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Piano Performance. I worked at the Royal Academy of Music.
15 years of piano teaching experience with students of different ages.
During the lessons, I focus both on piano technique and artistic expressiveness. An individual teaching approach to every student. A possibility to choose piano pieces the students wish to study. Music pieces by various composers and different music genres. Preparation for ABRSM exams. Theory lessons are applied as well.

My professional path as piano soloist performer, accompanist and pianist in chamber music ensembles embraces experience in practicing piano with vast piano repertoire of academic music of most outstanding composers.

Working in different Music Institutions as a teacher or accompanist inspired me enormous and helped me understand that teaching is my passion. One of my conclusions was that besides piano playing one must be prepared to become a student mentor, motivator and give them inspiration.

For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition.

For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages.

I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom.

I also offer improvisation, harmony,
lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

Learn to play the piano with a professionally trained musician with 10 years of instrumental teaching experience. I teach pupils of all levels and ages and have experience in teaching both adults and children. Every pupil is different and learn in different ways and I believe that it is important to identify what each student responds to in order to get the best results. A solid technique is crucial but instead of repeating various technical exercises which can be a bit tedious, I try to identify these techniques within pieces of music, helping them understand how good technique affects and supports their everyday learning, practicing and performing.

Through eurhythmics exercises, you'll not only play but also feel the music by moving with it, enhancing your musical knowledge and deepening your emotional connection to sound. I've played the piano since I was five years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree from the Geneva Music University. More recently, I completed my MA in Interdisciplinary Dance Performance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. While my teaching experience mainly focuses on children aged 5-10, I am also well-versed in providing music training and piano lessons for adults.
