Hi! I’m Didac Barber, a professional concert pianist and experienced teacher from Spain, now based in the Netherlands. I hold a Master’s in Piano Performance from The Hartt School (USA) and trained at ESMUC Barcelona, studying with top international pianists like Adolf Pla and Luiz de Moura Castro. I’ve performed across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and have taught piano for over 15 years — in conservatories, private studios, and internationally online. My passion lies not only in performance but in helping students discover what they are capable of. I’m dedicated, empathetic, and patient — and I want you to enjoy your learning journey as much as I do sharing it. Each student is different, and so are my lessons. Whether you're just starting out or already preparing for auditions or performances, I’ll adapt the lesson to your goals, challenges, and musical taste. My name is Miriam, I am a graduate in Master of Classical Music at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent. I've been teaching cello to children, teenagers and adults for 10 years, so I've acquired the necessary experience to be able to adapt to the different and personal needs and objectives of each student. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. In my lessons I focus on technical and postural questions, but we also reflect together on the music, as I like my students to develop their own musical ideas and not just imitate the teacher.
