“ I really really enjoyed my first guitar lesson with José!! I honestly didn't expect to cover so much in just one class. I went into the lesson with a few things I wanted to learn, including how to play a song I like, and we ended up working on much more than I expected!! What I really liked is that the lesson felt very personalised, but at the same time there is a clear structure behind the classes. José has a programme designed to help you improve progressively, so you always have a sense of what you are working towards and what you can improve next. At the same time, he adapts the lessons to your level, interests and personal goals, which makes the learning process feel much more natural. For example, we didn't just go through the chords of the song I wanted to learn. We worked on the chord changes, rhythm and strumming, and he also pointed out some small things I was doing incorrectly and showed me how to improve them. By the end of the lesson, I could already notice a difference in the way I was playing. I particularly liked that he doesn't just teach you how to memorise a song. José is very patient, friendly and easy to learn from. I also think his classes are a great option if you are interested in Spanish music, culture and language. You can learn songs you actually enjoy while discovering more about Spanish music, and I can imagine it being a really fun experience for someone visiting Spain or looking for a different activity for a special event!! I would definitely recommend José to beginners, people who already have some experience with the guitar, or parents looking for a great teacher for their children. He is also a great option for more experienced players who want to keep improving. He is professional, attentive, patient, funny and genuinely interested in helping you reach your goals. I am really happy with the progress I made in just one lesson, and I'm looking forward to continuing! !!! Nos vemos! ”
“ I had the great privilege of having Sofia preparing me for a competitive international orchestra audition in November 2022. During the brief time we had for the preparation, Sofia has not only shown thorough understanding of violin techniques - from the fundamentals to the more virtuosic - but also a command of the whole spectrum of musical expressions, both of which she was able to convey with clarity and effectively. Furthermore, due to her extensive experience in performances/auditions, she identified my strengths and weaknesses immediately from the start and designed a strategic practice plan specifically for me, which helped me improve rapidly within our short time frame and maxed out my performance at the audition. She is a rare teacher who is encouraging and shares the students’ passions, without compromising critical judgement in any flaws in performance, giving me a realistic assessment of my abilities and a great sense of security before the audition. Musical matters aside - she is a caring, warm, and passionate person who does not hesitate to mobilise all her resources to help me -intellectually or otherwise, despite her busy schedule. I honestly could not have completed my audition without the advice and confidence she gave me. 10/10 would recommend. ”
“ Our session with Marta was excellent. She was punctual, beautifully dressed, explained and demonstrated the dance very well and made it fun too. We all loved it and would thoroughly recommend Marta ”
