🥁 I give drum and/or percussion lessons for students of all levels (beginner/intermediate/advanced) from 8 years old. 👨‍🎓 I am currently a professional musician in Brussels, and graduated from several music and art schools, both in instrument and theory. (Master 2 in jazz drums - Bachelor of Musicology - DEM in Musical Training). I have been teaching drums for 10 years, in private lessons, in private schools and sometimes in conservatories. 🙌 I offer personalized support based on each student's personal desires and motivations. I encourage students to become versatile and independent, helping them find their own artistic identity. Starting from the fact that an Epic Intro of each song can determine the success of your artistic compositions, it is important to say that musical composition is a key tool to create and develop songs and concerts, through ensemble rhythms and their Syncopations you will learn to compose Epic Intros with the Afro-Cuban and Latin flavor. We will use percussion and choir instruments, body percussion and ideophone accessories (bells, Hierros, Kilin, etc.) from Drums BEAT I will teach you the Afro-Beat rhythmic marches that will give musical richness to your projects .

I am a professional percussionist from Spain. I completed my advanced musical studies in Belgium two years ago. I perform with professional musicians and dancers. I have experience in the worlds of flamenco, Latin, rock, classical, and contemporary music. My teaching method focuses on learning about world music and cultures through practice, listening, and playing with other musicians. I am a professional musician and perform regularly on stage. I studied in Cuba at the National Conservatory and now at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in classical percussion. I am qualified in conga, bongo, bata, xylophone, marimba, drums and more. I also master improvisation, reading, deciphering, dancing, body awareness exercises. I have experience teaching with children, adolescents and adults. As a Cuban percussionist, I also offer Afro-Cuban percussion lessons.

I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills. Additionally, I provide tailored exercises, on-demand sheet music and transcriptions according to your needs, as well as additional resources and recommendations on my website to nourish your musical life and journey. I teach the following: -the drums, in various styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, world music, latin music, on-demand songs) and forms (Moeller technique, speed, rudiments, syncopation, breaks, solo, independence, musicality, double pedal, push-pull, etc.); -percussion (2 or 4-mallet marimba and vibraphone, xylophone, timpani, cajón, hand percussion), in both contemporary and classical music styles; -music theory, which can and will easily be integrated into my drumming or percussion courses, or can be taught as a separate course for music students who are seeking remedial education; -harmony; -sight reading techniques; -perfect and relative pitch (experimental)

Methodology I base my teaching what the student wants to learn and also through years of teaching and learning I can help guide you on this path. Techniques, phrase development, solo, accompaniment, odd rhythms and creation of your own sound. We will cover traditional rhythms from Turkey, the Balkans, Egypt. I can teach darbuka and bendir from beginner to advanced level. Riq, indian tabla, konnakol, cajon, daf, indian tabla and percussion set ups can also be taught A bit about me: I have been playing oriental percussion professionally since 2010 with many groups and touring all over the world and I've recorded albums for groups such as Light in Babylon.
