The impossibility of overcoming the difficulties that everyone encounters inevitably when learning a language results in a feeling of demotivating stagnation. This is what prevents most of us from moving forward, from getting to the next level, from having the ability to communicate in English, but that's not inevitable! It is now recognized that, more than mathematics, for example, learning a language primarily involves a form of intelligence called emotional (it is called logic for maths). We often talk about "appropriating" a language, making it a "personal expression", expressing its "own style".
