Ona has been a much better teacher than I could've hoped for. First and foremost, she has the ability to be very adaptable with respect to the way that she instructs you. Whether it be observing and understanding how the student learns most effectively or more explicitly, you can tell what you want to learn and how you'd like to do so. Many teachers, I have found, have a method and stick with it, without consideration of how a student may learn best. That ability on its own distinguishes between what is a good/average teacher and a GREAT teacher or coach. She is also extremely kind and patient (something very important for me, as I tend to struggle!), which makes learning something difficult and a bit exhausting at times, much more enjoyable than it would be otherwise. S-Tier Instructor!

My middle school aged son really enjoyed his first class with Maria. I appreciate that she was able to assess his skills and needs well just after one class. We are very happy to have found such a wonderful teacher to guide our son's musical journey!
