About Me

I am a senior teacher, with more than 15 years of experience. Currently I work for the University of Oxford, and have been working for them for about 10 years. I have a lot of experience with different public, children, adults, schools, Berlitz Language, Alliance Française, Ministry of Defense, Abingdon and Witney College and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of different students and needs. I am a good listener, and a natural empath.

Education

I have Masters degree for Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the Sorbonne University, and a PGCE from Oxford Brookes University.
I also have a BA in Modern French Literature, a degree in Drama Studies and a sub-editor diploma.

I also teach French for a French Charity, teaching pupils whose parents wish them to be taught according to the French syllabus.
I also give drama lessons for children.

I specialize in tutoring French and English as a foreign Language for School and the SAT, Common Entrance and GCSE exams. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.
This class is for school pupils needing more French or needing ESL. The focus is to learn for exams or just to ameliorate their French or English. You will learn grammar, vocabulary, sentence building, topics. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I can cater for you. My lessons are partly written work, conversation and games. My name is Arsène, I am a 21 year-old French student living in Oxford. As French is my native language, I can easily give French classes, individually or in group, no matter how old you are.
My experience : During 2017/2018, I worked for an association, where I usually took care of adults or children groups, that had various issues (addiction, waiting for a visa, disability...) helping them to learn French, integrate into the society or just make friends and have fun. I also took care of three children last year in addition of my studies. During summer 2017, I worked for a fashion group called Sandro as a seller.
