Hi , I am a native French girl, 26 years old. I am a friendly person, aupair in London since 7 months, coming from Strasbourg , Alsace ( France ). I am use to speak both English and French with the kids I take care of ( kids are 7 and 8 years old )

I studied literature in France, I got my french diploma in literature.

Through my job in France, I had the opportunity to follow apprentice carriers. I really enjoyed to help, to teach someone.

I can give French lessons for you or your kids, any age, from beginner, intermediate or advance level.

I like to teach through a nice way for kids with differents supports ( book, poem, picture, what happened during the day, etc ) to keep an interaction which is the key to learn another language!

STRUCTURE OF THE LESSONS:

I build my lessons through a communicative approach maximising the use of the target language.
My lessons are usually task-based and centred around practical functions.
During each lesson, we will always work on four different skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing, using a great variety of teaching materials reflecting real-life situations.

MY COURSES WILL AIM AT:

– Improving your listening and conversation skills
– Explaining grammar rules
– Introducing new vocabulary using specific learning methods
– Enhancing your writing, speaking and listening skills

LANGUAGE:

I have learnt English, Spanish and I am currently learning Italian and Russian, so I perfectly understand how it feels to learn a new language and the difficulties that one can come across, especially when that language isn't using the same alphabet as your mother tongue.

EXPERIENCE:

I have taught French to people from Europe, Commonwealth, Russia, Colombia, Iran, Sri Lanka, Maldives, South Africa, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and China, and among them, some were students, teachers, analysts, brokers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, singers, business owners, writers, actors, ambassadors, personal trainers, interior designers, architects, TV and movie producers...

Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can.

I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture.

My lessons will be focused and led on the needs of the student ( prononciation, written skills etc). French is my mother tongue and I also did tutoring during my High school years, so it is not new for me. I believe that a good lesson can last from 45 mintues to one hour so that the student can be fully focused and not miss a thing!
My lessons are for everyone (children, students to adults).
I will be available by email between lessons to accompany the students in their learning.

We will cover idiomatic phrases, verb tenses and high level vocabulary to help you stand out during your examination.
