Netflix in VO - English tutoring at home

From 20 £ /h

I am 19 years old, a student in psychology and occasionally a private English teacher at home.

I give my classes to people of all ages, ranging from kids chuckling at the idea of learning out of school hours to late retirees.
Parents, I'll be happy to take care of your teenager whose passion for Netflix VF series makes you cringe. However, I will not replace the teaching of your child's school teacher, but will complete and deepen it.

Adults, if the idea that I'm 19 years old can cool you do not worry, I offer the first session aware that my lesson model may not please everyone.
They are tailor made. In fact, I am striving in a pedagogical approach to give tailor-made courses of interests, passions of the person, acquired and to acquire according to the level that the student wishes to reach.

During our first meeting, I will not have any cards, lessons or exercises at hand, which will of course be the case for the sessions that follow. It will be for you to evaluate my ability to give a course and for me to determine what format you would best according to your needs, knowing that I choose in general between academic or personalized course.

Looking forward to your return, Alexis.

second year student at Science Po Aix I had the chance to deepen my knowledge of the language first during the preparation of the competition (one year of preparatory class for the grandes écoles in parallel with a scientific terminal) then during my studies within the Institute of Political Studies. I also developed a good level by reviewing the IELTS which certified me to a C1 level (and even C2 for comprehension)

I am a specialized English teacher with over five years of teaching experience.
I graduated from a linguistic university, lived in the UK and the USA, and completed individual courses in teaching English as a foreign language.
The unique teaching methods I have developed will help you speak English really fast. I will create a program specifically for you, your level, and your needs.
You can also select an existing program:
Business English
Spoken English
Vocabulary to go
Grammar reference
English for Travel
TED English

Being a bilingual third year student in Sociology, I want to offer my English language skills to people who want to benefit from adapted and personalized private lessons.

I offer my courses remotely. I live in the Aix en Provence area.

Who am I ?
Franco-British teacher with more than 3000 hours of lessons given to students of all backgrounds and ages: students in difficulty, exam preparations and competitions (TOEIC, TOEFL, Cambridge, ...), tourism professionals, salespeople and business leaders, health personnel, artists but also great beginners wishing to learn the English language.

- In order to meet us, assess your level and your objectives in order to offer you a tailor-made program.

Academic support and exams
- Does your child need support in English? An exam (academic or national) to pass? Going to study abroad? I offer tailor-made courses according to your level and your objectives.

Conversation in English
- A language is spoken! These conversation sessions aim to open up to the English language in order to understand all situations (travel, job interviews, everyday life, etc.) or to strengthen your oral skills.

Professional English
- English is now an essential working tool. I suggest that you master professional English in accordance with your field of action (business, reception, legal, medical, tourism and catering, etc.) and your needs.

My teaching method
Inspired by the Integrated English Method (from the Cambridge University language laboratory)
- Classes are held almost exclusively in English.
- Pragmatism: we learn the English really used rather than the ancient English of the grammarians.
- Lively, real lessons, from everyday life, and therefore more rewarding.
- Focus on stimulating students, whose senses are kept alert by targeting their interests and goals.

Simplicity !
- A direct link with your teacher: no secretariat or educational advisor, no instructor or registration fees.
- A call and an appointment: we will discuss your project and we will establish a course schedule together in order to achieve your goals
I answer your calls and messages directly for any questions, unforeseen events or schedule changes.

Where, when and how?
Classes take place from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive:
- By videoconference on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- Face-to-face on Wednesday and Saturday at your home (in compliance with health rules)

See you soon,
~ Emmanuel
