Conversational English Classes for Kids,

Kids (aged 5 - 16) and adults love working with me! I've been an online English Teacher for 1833 students from all across the world for the past 3 years.
My classes are fun, engaging, and challenging in a way that helps each student to grow confidence to communicate freely.
I teach phonetics, reading, writing, listening and conversation skills from beginner to advanced.
Rather than striving to pass a test, I aim to help each person to feel supported to express themselves with confidence, so they have a solid foundation upon which to build from. There are many students who can pass a test, but can't actually speak English with confidence. My teaching style worls the other way around - we learn to speak confidently and then focus on passing a test.
My teaching materials include online games, fun cartoon grammar video classes, singing songs, playing music, writing worksheets, colourful story books and interesting research articles for the more advanced students.
I help students to prepare for ILETS examinations and interview practice through role playing - we learn by doing and not simply by reading or grammar. I love talking with my students, so I aim to bring out that side in them too.
I'm a native British tutor with over 20 years of tutoring experience. I first began tutors GCSE subjects to students in the UK when I was finishing my PhD. Tutoring has always been my passion because I love seeing students see how easy it actually is to learn a topic, when they are shown how to learn it in a fun and easy to understand manner.
When I was a Management Consultant in the corporate sector for 16 years prior to making a career change to pursue my childhood passion of teaching, we didn't hire people who had the best grades - we hired people who were effective leaders, had critical thinking and analysis skills, and demonstrated creative problem solving skills.
I aim to help a student to build these skills through gentle enquiry, fun conversations, interactive games and teaching topics from a real life perspective via role plays when appropriate.
We learn by doing, not by thinking alone.

Education
PhD in Bioinformatics, MSc in Chemoinformatics and a BSc in Human Genetics. After getting my PhD I joined a Management Consultancy firm where I developed a variety of skills in Project Management, Business Analysis, Process Design, Change Management, Training and Development.
Experience / Qualifications
I have always loved health and wellbeing related topics. I've completed many certifications in fields like: Theta therapy, Kundalini Yoga, Kundalini Yoga Pregnancy Teaching, Shamanic Soul Rescue, Esoteric Healing, Mind Scape. SoulFocused Rescue, Ego Clearing, and more recently Acupuncture, Homeopathy and Spiritual Multi-Dimensionality.

As a yoga and meditation teacher with 14 years of experience and a deep passion for healing modalities that really work, such as energy clearing, acupressure, homeopathy, ego clearing - I've many skills that I enjoy sharing with those who work with me to overcome challenges. As a Management Consultant in the Corporate sector for 16 years, I've coached many people to become more effective communicators, leaders, and happier people.
The aim of working with me is to grow stronger, to become more aware of what's causing the limitation. To create a change in perspective through activities that grow the authentic consciousness that's already within you - so you feel empowered enough to overcome the limitation through increased joy, strength and happiness.
Each class is tailored to the student's requirements - it could consist of life coaching, leadership coaching, yoga, meditation, energy clearing, acupressure, art therapy or something else that's more appropriate.
I generally work with a student for 4 - 6 weeks, with a single class per week. The student has daily homework to do in-between classes to assist with the transformation that will be energetically occurring when working with me.
Life's challenges feel lighter when you've grown stronger and no longer perceive them as an issue or challenge.
