Learn how to play classical guitar
From 57.44 £ /h
Hi there,
If you're looking to learn classical guitar or need advice and tips on how to improve your musical and technical skills I would be very much pleased to accompany you in this process.
Here are a few words on my musical background.
Evan is a musician, improviser, and educator. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with outstanding artist-teachers at various institutions, including the Conservatory of Vaux-le-Pénil, the CRR 93 in Aubervilliers-La Courneuve, the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, and the Musikhochschule in Basel.
After completing a master's degree in free improvisation with Alfred Zimmerlin and Fred Frith, free improvisation became central to both his artistic practice and his teaching.
His projects span both Alsace and Japan. In 2018, he had the opportunity to perform with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra in 200 Motels by Frank Zappa, and again in 2023 in the premiere of Suite Siddhartha by Bruno Mantovani.
Evan is a passionate educator, constantly exploring new repertoire and pedagogical tools to support each student’s musical and technical growth.
He currently teaches at the Conservatoire of the Pays de Montbéliard, where he works with students of all levels — from complete beginners to those in pre-professional training.
