After having lived for years in Italy (Tuscany) and in London for study and work, we are now back in the Netherlands. I have a teaching degree from the University of London and I have more than 10 years of teaching language lessons; all ages and all levels. Whether you want to improve your English reading skills; vacation Italian wants to learn if you want to expand your vocabulary and listening skills; everything is possible. I always fully adapt to the wishes and level of my student. Some learn better with a book; others prefer to do a lot of conversation. Still others like to learn about the culture and customs of a country. With my background in opera singing, I have a broad knowledge of both the language and culture of Italy and I enjoy sharing this knowledge!
The lessons can take place via Skype, in the coffee cafe in Vathorst or possibly at your home if you live in the area.

About Me

As a little girl I was already in love with Italy; I wanted to learn Italian and become an opera singer. Both have succeeded! I now sing freelance at De Nederlandse Opera and speak Italian fluently. I completed my Masters in 2016 at the Royal Academy of Music in London; this is part of the University of London. Here I also obtained my didactic certificate. During and after my studies I have always given language lessons in recent years; both English, Italian and Dutch. I now have more than 10 years of experience sharing my passion for language and culture. Language of course does not stop with grammar and words stomping! It only becomes really fun if you really learn to communicate with others and also learn about the customs and culture of a country. I have experience in teaching children playfully; but I also taught adults of all levels. It is always a challenge for me to adapt to the wishes of the student and to try to achieve the highest possible level for everyone, in a pleasant and relaxed way.
