I'm a teacher of English as a second language (with four years' experience), a professional editor/proofreader of academic writing (freelance, for Peerwith and Scribbr), and a graduate from a research masters degree with a humanities background. I know how to build and perfect strong academic texts in all fields, and also have a passion for supporting thinkers to communicate their ideas as best as possible.

During our tutorials and in my written feedback, I can improve your texts, but also your writing skills. Many other editing services will fix your writing, but won't explain how you can do this yourself. The goal here is to help you to not need someone like me any more! However, I am also happy to provide more straightforward editing, proofreading or formatting services. So it's possible to book one service or a series of support classes – for just you or for a small group, as you prefer.
