About Me
am a dedicated and experienced teacher, translator, and editor with a PhD in Performance and Theatre Studies from Freie Universität Berlin. I’ve taught Persian (Farsi) language, literature, and cultural studies at various levels, both in Iran and Europe. As a teacher, I value clarity, dialogue, and adapting my methods to the student’s goals — whether it’s everyday conversation, academic writing, or reading Persian literature.
I have worked 20 years as a journalist and activist and served as the former editor in chief for Zamaneh Media.
I enjoy working with curious, committed learners — from complete beginners to advanced students — and I offer a flexible, engaging, and intellectually rich learning environment. I also bring many years of experience translating and publishing complex texts between English, German, and Farsi, and I love helping students understand the depth of the Persian language and its cultural world
